Making A Purchase
Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our store, and add any items that you wish to buy into the shopping basket. After you have finished your selection, click on 'Checkout' and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to complete the order. We accept credit and debit card payment. If you are shopping from North America or anywhere else, place your order and your credit card company will convert the transaction to US Dollars or your own currency. We accept Visa, Mastercard. We also take most debit cards. We do not charge for any item until it is ready to ship. Backordered items are not charged until they are shipped. You may send your credit card information via phone or over the Internet. When confirmation of order is received, this is to indicate that we have received your order. It does not indicate that a contract exists between us. We will indicate acceptance of your order, and hence a contract between us, when we send you an invoice via email. We have included this term to protect us in the case that a mistake has been made in pricing, we have inadvertently under-priced goods, or we are no longer able to supply a particular product for some reason. In the case of a change of price, we will always contact you first to ensure that the price is acceptable. FINE ART PRINTS It is our policy to only include on our website those artists whose work we have exhibited or currently show in our gallery. We mostly work with smaller and medium sized publishers and limit our selection to artists whose work we regularly exhibit. We have a committed obligation to work closely with our publishers in the promotion of work we strongly believe in. We offer fair and competetive prices. If you purchase a print from us and within 14 days see an identical print at a cheaper price we will refund the difference. |
| Shipping And Handling All items under 2kg are sent through British Royal Mail. Over this weight, deliveries are sent to UK only via Parcelforce or another courier and charged at less than the standard Parcelforce 48 hour rate. It is company policy not to recieve any profit from sending items and our postage and packaging costs are set accordingly. All our items are sent with either a proof of postage or recorded delivery including the weight and list of items sent. |
| Delivery Schedule Where possible, we will send orders the same day they are received. For UK mainland, please allow three to five working days. For many items, such as framed prints for example, this will of course take longer and will depend on framing and mounting preferences. For international orders please allow 28 days delivery. However delivery time is likely to be quicker than this in most cases. |
| Back Orders If your item is not in stock, we will back order it for you. However, with one off pieces an email will be sent to you in the unlikely event it has been sold between placing the order and updating of this site. With respect to other items, not individually produced by artists, you will always be emailed with the option to cancel your order if you would rather not wait. |
| Credit Card Security When the order is placed at our website, all transactions are securely processed via Protx, a secure online credit card and debit card payment solution, recommended by LloydsTSB. No credit card details are stored on our or anybody elses computer. |
| Guarantee We guarantee your satisfaction. With the exception of earrings (for health and legal reasons) and limited edition prints, all our products come with a 14 day money back guarantee. In the event of returing items a full refund will be given minus the cost of sending the item (a postage receipt can be requested by the customer) Because limited edition prints are customer specific they can only be returned if they arrive damaged. |

Privacy Policy
Gallery on the Usk do not disclose buyers' information to third parties. We are committed to protecting your privacy. We will only use the information that we collect about you lawfully (in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998). We collect information about you for 2 reasons: firstly, to process your order and secondly, to provide you with the best possible service. We will only e-mail you in the future if it concerns your order. If you have a particular interest in fine art or purchased work by one of the artists who exhibit in the gallery, we may forward information about the artist and any upcoming exhibitions that relate to your order and/or artist. In our experience people like to know a little more about art they purchase. If so, any emails sent will be very few and far between and hopefully of interest. We will of course not send any emails if you so wish. We will never forward any details for marketing purposes to any third party. The type of information we will collect about you includes: your name address phone number email address Any other details such as 'how you found our site' or 'customer feedback' are optional. We do not receive or hold any payment card details. For maximum security transactions are processed directly with Protx and Lloyds TSB. The information we hold will be accurate and up to date. You can check the information that we hold about you by emailing us. If you find any inaccuracies we will delete or correct it promptly. The personal information which we hold will be held securely in accordance with our internal security policy and the law. We may use technology to track the patterns of behaviour of visitors to our site. This can include using a "cookie" which would be stored on your browser. You can usually modify your browser to prevent this happening.
